Village Vancouver

Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

Well, the lady living above me doesn't want me playing acoustic guitar in the afternoons, dureing the week-ends. 37 years of playing guitar and I've never had this happen to me. I am a bit shocked and traumatized by this event. She said she'd get even and so she has. The building manager will not renew my lease after 3 wonderful years here.

So..... 57 year old, earth friendly, non-smoking, energy conserver male, with no drug or alcohol issues seeking a home where I can breath clean air and get a good nights sleep. I am a bit concerned about the Olympic price hikes.

I am seeking a house share, well maintained bsmt suite or floor of a house. I have a fair amount of furniture so I need at least 600 sq, ft. I have never been late for the rent in my life. I hope to stay around or under $800. I know a few friends who have been living in the same place for decades and haven't had any rent increases. (BOY WOULD THAT BE NICE, in a perfect world)

So if you see a for rent sign, or know of somebody, or if you have something to offer, please call me at 604 738 6548. I'd like to stay around the same neighbourhood. Fairview, Kits, Main st., The Drive or basicaly within a half hour cycle to the city center. My lease expires at the end of APRIL but the end of March or mid-april might be a possibility.

After I get re-settles I'd like to start a tool cribe for use by VV members. I have a fair amount of tools and would like to see more of us contribute.

Thanks all and wish me luck
