Chickens Love Coffee Chaff

I sent an email to Maynard of Southland Farms and he suggested I join and speak to all the backyard chicken owners on this site.I blog for a local coffee roaster out of Delta, and we are advocating the use of spent coffee chaff instead of wood chips for the coops.I wrote about it on our coffee blog, and thought you may be interested.We produce approx. 75lbs of chaff a month, and would like to recycle it.…See More

Hi Suzie,

I posted a link to your blog in the coop co-op group discussions yesterday and it seems to be getting some results. You might also want to join the coop co-op group and post chicken stuff directly there in the future.
