VV has been very active around food & food resiliency during the past 2 years. We focus on 3 areas: Action (including VV neighbourhood food networks), Education, & Planning (the Food component of VV's Energy Descent Action Plan). WE BUILD COMMUNITY.

Hey Glenn,

I got a little busy (what else is new!), but will be inviting people to a potluck to start a West End neighbourhood village soon. I hope all is well.

Cheers,
Ross

Hi Glenn,
I'm still stoked by the de-growth conference. With the oil rig blow out and the films at DOXA about texas oil companies' environmental racism--industry polluting near residential neighbourhoods at levels that would never be accepted near white communities, its time to say no to big oil. Hope to see you soon and talk about creating a west end transition town.

I actually just joined VV after the friday sessions. I completely agree that it seems like such an awesome initiative. Have you been in the west end for a while now?

Hey Glenn Friend, yes, I'm here! :) I like to stay connected with these initiatives, in spirit anyway ;) Sounds like I missed a good one with the De-Growth Conference. However as we're still finding our way through sustainability there will be many more of these conferences. Hope to be with you at the next one! Hugs, Kath

Hi Glenn, it's so nice to hear from you! It really was a great conference but I unfortunately was only able to make it to Friday's session and felt bad that I left before everything died down. I heard that the sessions on Saturday were really interesting and inspiring as well.

Hi Glenn,

Welcome! I think we'll do a potluck soon in your neighbourhood - bring everyone together, talk about Transition, and see where it goes from there.

Cheerds,
Ross
