Kits Village Seed Savers/Kits Seed Library

We currently maintain 3 seed libraries, making seeds available and providing information on seed saving at many local events, collaborative garden work parties, the Westside Community Food Market (most weeks), AND at the Kits Branch Vancouver Public Library and MLA David Eby's office.etc. In 2014, we were present at 30-40 different events and activities in Kits and in nearby neighbourhoods. Interested in helping organize Kits Car Free Days (whether you live in Kits or not) or a block party in Kits on your block on Kits Car Free Days in June? 6th year; typically up to 20 or more parties throughout Kits. community building, having conversations with others re ways to maintain sustainable communities and cities and the world, and I love food and learning new receipes!

Welcome to Village Vancouver! I'm going to send you an invite to join Kits Transition Village as well. (If you go to the Villages tab near the top of the page, and then scroll down in that tab, you'll see Kits Village. You'll only see a short blurb, but if you join, you'll see a whole lot of stuff, and will receive all notices of Kits Village potlucks, discussions, activities, that way.
