Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
A mini-carfree-day of sorts, the Mount Pleasant Autumn Shift festival is a celebration of local business and non-profit community organizations. The Village was of course out in force, with our newly-donated 10x20 tent, which housed a library of Village books and a community "living room" (3 couches, coffee, tea, brownies, and cookies). We talked to all about Transition-approppriate building scales and the built forms that contribute to community-building.
