We're a group of proactive neighbours who have been working hard, over the last decade, to make Mountain View a nice place to be.

Our general boundaries are King Edward to 33rd Avenue, Fraser to Knight Street but it's not written in stone.  Over the years we've had people from all around the area participate in our projects.

So what projects have we done?  Well, glad you asked.  Here's a short list:

  • Neighbourhood street banners - the first initiated by a neighbourhood group rather than a B.I.A. (Business Improvement Association). We're on our 3rd set.
  • Neighbourhood bulletin boards
  • Rebuilding streets and adding curbs and boulevards
  • Vancouver's first country lane - the neighbours helped the city build and plant it
  • Street mosaics

We've also done the usual neighbourhood street parties and outdoor movies.

Now we're looking to reconnect with our neighbours, connect up with people new to the 'hood and those like minded people across the city to share ideas and information in order to make Vancouver a LIVABLE city for us all.
