*Healthy Soil for a Great Garden! ($5 workshop)

In this Marpole Oakridge Neighbourhood Food Network workshop with Rhiannon Johnson, you'll learn how to build your soil for a healthy, vibrant veggie garden! Bring a 1-litre CLEAR container with a lid at least half full of YOUR garden soil for some simple tests to learn specifically about your garden's soil and how to improve it with natural fertilizers, soil amendments and gardening techniques for a more vibrant and resilient garden. You'll also learn about composting tailored to your space and how it can supplement your garden's health.We'll have MONFN's seed library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden or swap or donate some seeds.
