Presently, officials in the U.S. and Canada maintain that raw milk is a health hazard, and several provinces ban its sale or purchase. However, there are many dairy experts across North America who argue that, so long as it is produced from grass-fed cows at farms with safe handling practices, the health benefits of raw milk significantly outweigh those of pasteurized milk. Whether you are a raw milk advocate or just want to learn more about the issue, this event is an excellent opportunity to speak directly with dairy farmers and other food activists.

This conference will be aimed at educating a public, that has previously been denied FULL honest data, and by the time you leave on Saturday April 6th, we hope we will have opened your eyes to what is happening to your Food System.

The conference will also address GMO foods, Food sovereignty, sustainable farming and Slow Fish.

Please see the website http://www.freshmilkfoodpolitics.com/ for full details and links to related resources and eventbrite for tickets http://freshmilkfoodpolitics.eventbrite.ca/#

After the conference there will be an evening of wine & cheese from 6-8pm
