hi sarah, nice to hear from you, and your work. do you have pics? yes, only cotton and sometimes silk, rarely wool. usa built their cotton production on slave labor, the old song 'in them cotton fields back home'? something like that. actually, i did not know they still grew cotton; thanks for the tip, i will surely look into that. probably expensive, but cost of importing in energy terms is so high even though dollar value low. how are you doing? haven't had contact for 2 years! oh right, the dyes i used were either 'kitchen' dyes (mushy blueberries, turmeric, or plant dyes (elderberry, willow) - will be posting about the experience soon.
