The Main Street Neighbourhood village is holding our monthly potluck dinner and presentation tonight (Tuesday, 7 June) at Little Mountain Neighbourhood House on Main Street at 24th Ave (adjacent to the library). Dinner and a free seed and food plant seedling giveaway start at 6:00 and then an urban gardening presentation and discussion begins at 7 for about an hour. Come and stay as long as you want, or just drop by at any time.
See the full event description here.

As you can see, we are just beginning to build an on-line community for Village Vancouver, and organize our extensive activities more openly and collaboratively through this site. Please feel free to contribute to a discussion, attend or even enter a new event, join a working group, and get active in the Main Street Neighbourhood.
Our next Main Street potluck is Sunday the 25th (next Sunday) at a member's home. Check out the Main Street Neighbourhood page for details. We also have a number of gardening workshops taking place this month and next.
Also, please update your home page ("My Page" above) with some brief comments about your interests or a short bio. This will help us all connect with people with similar interests in sustainability, or other activities. Maybe find a nice photo to upload, too. :-)
