Community Upcycling Clothing Swap and Repurposing Tutorial at The HUB Space

You are invite to bring your previously owned clothing to swap for new to you great clothing finds. We will have a sewing machine available and there will be options to make alterations and crafts from repurposed materials. All remaining clothing will be donated to a local charity. Come and join us on Thursday, August 6th, from 6-9pm for this exciting FREE evening of community building and resource sharing.See More

There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!): I already help to organize the commercial drive vv events and sit on that committee.

What would you like to see improved in Vancouver or in your community regarding sustainability or resiliency? Do you have an idea for a new Transition project or activity?: More neighbour's knowing neighbour's.
