There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)
I'm interested in the following groups/projects: Food, Zero Waste, Energy, Permaculture, and learning as much as I can!

I have a lot of experience with organizational management (I've worked for several non-profits), financial management, fundraising, and event planning. Happy to lend these skills wherever possible. I'm also currently studying nursing and have a whole new set of healthcare and first aid skill sets developing.
What would you like to see improved in Vancouver or in your community regarding sustainability or resiliency? Do you have an idea for a new Transition project or activity?
More urban gardening, more energy efficient living, more encouragement of zero waste.

Hi Adriana,

Welcome to Village Vancouver! We have a number of gardening and permaculture activities, including a permaculture blitz (work party/learning op) if you're interested in getting involved. We also have a seed packet folding work party for our seed libraries this Sunday from 3-6 and are looking for a few more folks to help.

If you have any questions re: VV, let me know.

Cheers,
Ross
