Share 'Green building retro fits?'

I'm just at the beginning of researching a potential Masters research project on retro fitting Green building solutions.  I'm interested in ideas for renters.  In Vancouver vacancy rates are low, so landlords aren't as motivated to make energy saving upgrades to buildings where the tenants pay the utility bills.  Most of our housing was built before we started getting smart and building green.  N…
