Village Vancouver

Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

Is anyone interested in promoting composting of human resource  ( aka feces and urine), within Vancouver?

I have a vision...

I would like to start a movement of folks composting the shit on their own, in their  backyards, and then move towards a city-wide human excretion composting system.

If you'd like to learn more about the how and why of it, read the book Humanure. It's really, really good.

Hi Ander,

This is a discussion which seems to come up fairly often...it came up somewhere a few days ago (I forget exactly where)...it's obviously on a number of people's minds.

Cheers,
Ross
