Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
We are proud to announce the formation of a new community garden in Guelph Park. Brewery Creek is an exciting project born through a series of public meetings by local residents. Included in this project are 40 allotments, 4 beds dedicated to community organizations, an edible food forest and edicational display beds geared towards creating positive ecological change. We are currently looking for supporters of this project. Please click on the attached link and help us out if possible. Otherwise please pass on the information about this project and help us go viral.
Much Thanks!
- the friendly folks at Brewery Creek Community Garden.

Great work on a critical piece of the effort to reconnect people, especially the kids at MP School, to the source of their food. I wonder if we can create a "tributary stream" to or from Brewery Creek to water this new food garden. Of course, this would be done in paint, as is the current plan for Brewery Creek.
On the help side, the Residents Association of Mount Pleasant would love to help, certainly with labour and materials and maybe through what fundraising we can undertake, to build the new infrastructure of this site. We might even be able to help supply seedlings to jumpstart the garden food production, since it is already so late in the spring.
