Kits Village Drop-in "Spaghetti" Night near 5th and Trafalgar, Sunday 14 October 2012

Come enjoy a meal created and hosted by a Kits neighbour this Sunday, Oct. 14th.

This meal will be hosted by Russell Cameron near 5th and Trafalgar. Open to anyone, the drop-ins are especially aimed at neighbours living close to the host (usually within 2 or 3 blocks).

This is the 3rd in a series of several dinners taking place between July and November, and is supported by a Green Neighbourhood Small Grant from the Vancouver Foundation (administered by Kits Neighbourhood House), to increase awareness of our food sources and promote community connections.

They’re called Drop-in “Spaghetti” nights, because many of the ones we've held in the past have involved serving spaghetti. Each meal, however, is different, depending on what the host wants to serve. Tonight's meal will be vegetarian.

Limited to 10 participants. Please BYO plate, bowl, cutlery! Exact address will be emailed a couple days before the dinner to everyone who RSVPs here (see link below) or to [email protected]:

The source of the ingredients will be tracked, and we'll collate how local our eating habits are at a community- wide Drop-in "Spaghetti" gathering on November 29th.

The next evening will be hosted by Elaine and Kayla on Sunday, October 21st, near 1st and Alma.
