Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

Hi all,

What do people think of having a monthly pot luck for Grandview-Woodland (modeled after Main Street's)? I think a great theme for one soon would be winter tool prep! (Bring your tools: we'd have linseed oil, tool oil, and sharpeners on hand?)

Hi Alyssa,

I've been talking to a few other folks who live off Commercial Drive that also want to do monthly potlucks and workshops. A couple of us were going to get together the first week of December and plan the first potluck. Would you like to join us? We don't have a date and time yet, but we're hoping to meet the first week in December.

Hmm. Tool prep / sharpening would Definitely still appeal to me. Also, noticed that the last ferment workshop was January. That would be cheery, and the winter storage / root veg would be fresher.
