Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
This ongoing Village study group and think tank collaborates to develop a new economic development model for Vancouver, BC, and Canada focussed around balancing economic development, ecology, and social equity. A formal applied course in Ecological Economics launched in the fall of 2012 and again in fall 2013 as a beginner and advanced course, with the expectation of lobbying governments at all levels for specific policy or new bylaw support.
This is part of the Economics and Livelihoods Group.
