Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
Hi everyone
Just to let you know, we applied for a Greenest City grant to turn chafer beetle lawns into growing spaces. The grant will focus on high visibility lots with obvious chafer beetle damage. We'll be looking for volunteers once we obtain grant approval in June.
Don't worry if you're not able to garden but are still interested, we'll have some spots for those who'd love a front yard garden but can't do the physical work.
Attached is a copy of the grant for those interested.Greenest%20City%20Neighbourhood%20Application%202011-2%20%282%29.doc
