Cool post. If I lived there, I'd definitely want to connect around a bunch of this. It look like we have about 15 VVers in the DTES. Would you like me to send this to them?

P.S. One way we could do this is to set up a DTES (and Gastown?) page under villages, and then invite other DTESers to join. If this is of interest, let me know.

The name is something to consider; perhaps contacting folks in this area first of all to coordinate on naming, before we initiate a village page.
