Village Vancouver

Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

In the past two (more?) years Village Vancouver has had a booth (and a blanket) at the Folk Festival. I plan to be there and can help in some way. The Community Arts Council of Vancouver might offer a community art activity as well - any suggestions?

Yes, we're gearing up to do this again. We've done a double sized booth, including a hospitality area, where festival goers can rest and get some water, or maybe some lemonade. If anyone's planning on going and wants to volunteer a couple hours at the booth, let me know.

A community art activity from CAC sounds like fun. Any ideas yet?
Hi Ross,

Jenn at Kits House has referred me to you. She thought you'd be a good person to let
know about the Sunflower Seedling Sale that I am doing with Turn to the Sun on May 8,
behind Banyen Books.

As you know, Sunflowers are wonderful food for birds and they attract bees as well. We
don't see any pollen free varieties.

I've attached a poster with all the info. Please let people know and drop by and say hello.
Your group looks fascinating.

Thanks,

Shelley Klotz
