Car Free Day is only 6 weeks away - Sunday, June 16th! (June 15th-16th for Kits CFD block parties)
Join us in planning this year's Neighbourhood Demo Village at Main Street Car Free Day.
Last year we had a dozen tents, approximately 35 projects, 80 human volunteers, and lots of chickens, worms, etc. .
This will be our 4th year - and it's going to be TOTALLY AMAZING!
To help plan RSVP here, or to Ross Moster . To volunteer, offer use of tents, etc. email Ross.
For more information visit our Demo Village page.
Some of the logistics:
Outreach, securing tents, tables and chairs, getting stuff to site, setup, getting lots of people to volunteer, lining up different displays (eg. bees, chickens, bike repair, seed saving, neighbourhood villages, emergency prep, homesteading, plastic free kitchen, energy descent, visioning, etc.), breakdown, returning stuff, etc.
