Event Description

Meet other Village activists from around Vancouver and the metropolitan area, hear about and start new projects. For VVers who are already active, and VVers who are interested in becoming more active.

We're going to be exploring current local food/urban ag, community currency, and other projects and how we can both strengthen and, when appropriate, replicate them elsewhere in Village. We'll hear about potential new projects - new ideas most welcome! Finally, we'll take a look at what's working (or not) in our neighbourhood villages.

Hosted by Kits Village this month.

If you want to share what I'm doing with the rest of the activists -- in Cedar Cottage (CC) area I am involved in the VV CC seedsaving collective, VV Vcr Tool Library book/DVD collaboration ?, VV CC canning collective startup ?, VV beekeeping co-convenor.

Non-VV stuff:  cohousing; Cedar Cottage garden, My Own Backyard garden, permaculture & beehive initiatives.  If anyone has questions, they can contact me.

Hi Ross, thank you for including me.  If I make it out that night it looks like I'm already committed to the Naomi Klein lecture.  I hope it goes great.  See you soon!

It looks like I'll be attending the Copley Commons open house, which is closer to home.  cylia
