Event Description

Join us on 100 in 1 Day for a Permaculture Blitz Day - a KitsBlitz "barnraising" work party where we transform a space using Permaculture design principles. Up to 25 people at a time have participated in past VV garden blitzes.

This garden party will be held at a home near 5th and Arbutus, and we'll be restoring and expanding a medicinal plant, herb and pollinator garden. VVer Nick Grabovac will facilitate. Nick is a Permaculture Designer and founder of Vancouver Permaculture Meetup.

Everyone welcome and no experience necessary - it's fun, it's educational, and we feed you lunch!

Kits VV is holding a series of permaculture blitzes (KitsBlitzes) and activities over the next few months, starting with Permaculture in Pots on June 1, with the goal of (initially) establishing a corridor of mini-food forests and additional sites for pollinators throughout Kits. We currently have several growing spaces and are looking for more - please contact us if you know of any potential sites, or have space to offer. Stay tuned for more details.
