For those of you I talked to today about my upcoming storefront, you can follow the projected (and take my survey!) http://www.homesteadersemporium.ca.  It was nice meeting you all!

I got notice pf this event only the day before (Sat) so that is too short notice for me to get organized to go. Thanks for the invite anyway!

Hi Alyssa, definitely we'll have to arrange that fermenting workshop! Don't know if you saw my note in the GW-Village page, but I've found the perfect kitchen that we can use for it at the Lion's Den Rec Centre at Commercial and Adanac!

We'll also be in touch about grant writing - we were just talking about this at our Outreach Committee meeting on Friday!

Something later (after dark) would have been better for me... I need to maximize my chicken time this time of year! But we'll see, I might stop by.

Oh, I'm still willing to do the fermented vegetables class. I will do a free one for VV, as long as people bring vegetables and their own jars. Also willing to help with grant-writing.

There is also an Oil Free BC Coast even at the Roundhouse during this time... I just might have to split myself in two... hmm... :s

I'm sorry I won't be able to come, but I'll be with you in spirit!

Transportation

If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.

Housing

A human right? After food, most feel shelter is the most important necessity. A place of shelter is also the start of a community. This category is for all things relating to shelter, housing, affordable housing, homes, renewable heating systems, green buildings, heritage, and our built environment in general.
