“Something is stirring. People around the world are deciding that the well-being of their local community and its economy lies with them. They’re people like you. They’ve had enough, and, rather than waiting for permission, they’re rolling up their sleeves, getting together with friends and neighbours, and doing something about it. Whether they start small or big, they’re finding that just doing stuff can transform their neighbourhoods and their lives.” Rob Hopkins, Founder of the Transition Movement
This workshop will engage and connect people who have discovered the “power of just doing stuff.” The Transition Movement is about getting out and just getting started. It is also about staying connected, inspiring others and being inspired by others. This workshop is designed for those who want to share their projects and ideas, as well those who just want to come and learn about what is happening in Surrey.
Village engages individuals, neighbourhoods & organizations to take actions that build sustainable communities & have fun doing it. Join us!
