Event Description

It’s back again: our Seedy Saturday workshop series with the Vancouver Public Library (VPL)! Last year, in partnership with the VPL, we started a seed sharing library and held free workshops every few weeks on gardening.

Whether you have been gardening for years or are starting fresh this year, this event is for you. Our seed library will be open for you to take home or donate seeds.

The workshop this month is on Getting Garden-Ready, which will include everything you need to know to prepare for a bountiful harvest this season. Our instructor will discuss soil testing, planning out your plot (including permaculture principles), attracting beneficial insects, and much more! Bring your notebook and your questions.

Please register online at kccready.eventbrite.ca or in the Kensington branch of the VPL. The event is free but space is limited.
