Event Description

Registration for the second workshop in the 2015 Seedy Saturday series is now open!

On May 2nd, 2015, the CCFN and Vancouver Public Library – Kensington are presenting a workshop on garden care and seed saving. During this workshop, participants will learn about the essentials of garden maintenance throughout the season including watering, harvesting, pest control, soil testing, and more! The instructor will also cover how and when to save seeds for next season (and to donate back to the seed library!).

Seeds will once again be available through the seed library and our donation box will be around if you have some you’d like to share with others in the community. Bring a notebook, your questions, and your appetite to learn. Although the event is free, registration is required (online or in-person at the branch).
