This interactive workshop for parents/caregivers and children has two parts:
1) Join librarian Ning for a garden-related Storytime at the Kensington branch of the Vancouver Public Library. At Storytime, parents and caregivers are supported in their roles as their children’s first and most important teachers and shown ways to share language with them.
2) Participants will move across the street to join gardening instructor Jennifer (from West Coast Seeds) for some fun activities at the Kingcrest Community Garden. These activities can be transferred to home gardens where the adults and their kids can continue learning together.
This workshop has very limited space so please pre-register. This workshop is for families with children ages 3-7 (no more than 2 children per family at this time).
