Seed Saving Intermediate Class (1-2:30 pm)
The afternoon session is designed to build on and deepen our seed knowledge. Mojave will bring background history and meaning to our group with
stories, and then we will discuss issues of better technique building, record keeping, selection and seed collectives. And bring your questions! We will gather at least one question per person through a beginning round, and organize and triage to address key areas. We will
cover isolation distance and techniques, and persevering genetic diversity.
Instructors: Maria Hunter, Dragonfly Seeds
Mojave Kaplan, Planting Seeds Project
Robin Wheeler, Edible Landscapes (Robin is ill and can't participate; her material will be covered by Maria and Mojave.)
