By preserving food at the height of freshness, your family will be able to enjoy saving money along with living a more sustainable lifestyle. We discuss different preservation options including fermentation, pickling, water bath and pressure canning, freezing and drying, and will introduce you to techniques you can use to store many fruits and vegetables. We will have a few samples on hand to taste as well!
Village engages individuals, neighbourhoods & organizations to take actions that build sustainable communities & have fun doing it. Join us!
