Light up your summer with digital eco-art! Come join the LocoMotoArt Collective from 9 – 11 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013 where we will light up your stroll through one of Vancouver’s crown jewels, Queen Elizabeth Park! Celebrating Youth, Technology and Nature, this family-friendly, FREE exhibition will include 12 visual projections, audio, sound art and interactive new media works in the large quarry, highlighting sustainable practices with technology.
Show attendees are asked to please meet at the observation point in front of the Bloedel Conservatory between 9:00 – 9:15 p.m. sharp! Russell Wallace, First Nation storyteller and performer will open the exhibition at 9:25 p.m., leading visitors down to the lower area of the large quarry. Visitors are advised to wear comfortable walking shoes to navigate stairs and paths, as they experience visual projections and audio/sound art pieces and interact with new media works.
