Learn the fundamentals of landscape design and how to unify your garden with your house. After covering the universal guidelines regarding the use of shape, colour, texture and balance, the class will head out into the neighbourhood to evaluate local homes. Returning to the classroom, small group discussions will focus on the homes and gardens of class participants. Everyone will leave with design ideas for their own garden. Bring two colour photos of your house, pencil, eraser and lunch, and prepare for the weather.
