Event Description

Regular monthly potluck and work party for Kits Villagers. Neighbours sharing food and helping each other.

When: Work party 4-5:30pm (brainstorming for use of water at Kathi's house)

Potluck 5:30-7:30 (local, vegetarian if you can) w/informal discussion leading up to Gardening Collaborative meeting on Thursday the 17th.

Where? Kathi's, 6th & Balsam

We missed you and Nadia, but had a great discussion about Kits Car Free Day block parties - there are usually about 20-25, watch for a Car Free page here in the next couple days. And we talked about growing more food. Mary told us about the traffic circle herb garden she's starting, we talked about the potential for gardening at Kits House and Lawrence's idea for a fruit orchard on his block, and about the new Kits Village collaborative garden (about 10 people so far).
