Event Description

Time: October 21, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm
Location: near 1st and Alma

Come enjoy a meal created and hosted by your neighbor at 1st and Alma. Open to anyone, the drop-ins are especially aimed at neighbours living close to the host (within 2 or 3 blocks).

This is one in a series of dinners, supported by a Green Neighbourhood Small Grant from the Vancouver Foundation (administered by Kits Neighbourhood House), to increase awareness of our food sources and promote community connections.

The source of the ingredients will be tracked, and we'll collate how local our eating habits are at a community-wide celebtration on November 29.

They’re called Drop-in “Spaghetti” nights, because many of the ones we've held in the past have involved serving spaghetti. This meal, however, will focus on fresh and local produce and will be all vegetarian (ova-lacto).

Limited to 10 participants.

Exact address will be emailed the day before the event to those who RSVP here or to Ross at [email protected].
