Join Vancouver’s own Scott Henderson (of shroomstore.ca) for a full day workshop with tons of information and hands-on mushroom cultivation instruction. Come ready to learn and get your hands dirty. Participants will learn and apply several techniques to innoculate logs, wood chips, straw, and coffee grounds with oyster, shiitake, and king stropharia mushroom spawn.
Participants should bring one large (approx 20 gallon) and one small (approx one gallon) container to bring home their spawn. All other materials will be provided.
Cost is $85, register at http://homesteadersemporium.ca/site/events/#mushrooms
