Encourage native bee populations by creating healthy bee habitat in your urban garden. This class will discuss best flower choices, bee baths, bee nests, soil care strategies, and the effects of (even naturally-derived) pesticides on bees. The class will begin with a short walk in the Garden and will conclude with participants making simple bumblebee nests for their garden.
