For intermediate to advanced birders – This intertidal-mudflat-turned-freshwater-lake is important habitat to loving birds like Canada geese and glaucous-winged gulls. Around the shallows and bordering forests, you will also find birds that enjoy the lake edge like great blue heron and the elusive Virginia rail. Learn about the natural history of Lost Lagoon and its ecological role for birds within Stanley Park, and the larger Pacific Flyway, on this two-hour walking tour.
