I wanted to thank you and Rin and everyone who participated in the KTV visioning session for

a rich community seed sowing experience. In the spirit of this movement and this moment...

I wanted to share this song, I just came across (for the soulfully inclined) with everyone who

attended the visioning session - called: "Everybody" by Raul Midon.…

The task is not to bring it all together...

...is not to bring it

   all together,

       but to make places

           and find ways

   to keep the fabric,

 the visions of hope

       moving on,

  fluid, dynamic,

without domination,

      with all the textures

               and strands,

the loose weave

Help plan future Kits Transition Village activities and direction

Hey all!

Interested in helping plan future Kits Village activities and direction?

Good things are cooking in our village -- figuratively, as well as  literally! Currently, activities include monthly potlucks/garden parties, movie nights, and dropin spaghetti nights.

Last year we gardened collaboratively at Kits House and this year we're looking to start a new garden at Billy Bishop Legion Hall -- and perhaps in other locations as well.

We just had our 1st Soup…

Gateway Program’s blacktop politics pushed back in New Westminster

Until recently, the Gateway freeway megaproject looked unstoppable.

Work is continuing on the $3-billion Highway 1 widening, which

includes the replacement for the Port Mann Bridge, slated to be

Canada's widest bridge. Despite legal action by the Burns Bog

Conservation Society, logging for the $2-billion South Fraser

Perimeter Road freeway continues in Surrey and Delta.

But the Gateway Program…

Summer Course in Italy, Switzerland and Lopez Island, WA about Food (& Slow Food Movement)

Hi, I am posting this link because I've taken several courses from one of the main instructors, Gigi Beradi, and she's a wonderful teacher. I am betting this will be a great course. Gigi has been immersed in the agro-ecology movement for decades and is well connected in the start, continuation, growth and critique of the Slow Food Movement. The link to the course is below the description.
