Join Village Vancouver
As you can see, we are just beginning to build an on-line community for Village Vancouver, and organize our extensive activities more openly and collaboratively through this site. Please feel free to contribute to a discussion, attend or even enter a new event, join a working group, or even form a Village.
Right now we have just two other members in your neighbourhood, Alexandra and Frannie. Mary Bennett is also active just north of your neighbourhood and a great resource for seed sharing, gardening, and networking.
ARKS is a large and diverse set of neighbourhoods. I work closely with the ARKS CityPlan Committee group and also ARCCA, a community group concerned with the Arbutus Village redevelopment. The network of people interested in city planning and sustainable development in your area is significant and powerful. Join them also, and help shape a sustainable, resilient, and just future for Vancouver.
