Hi Romanda
That would be great.
I remember we were 3 or 4 people at that table who lived on the same block as I do, corner Fraser and East 6th. One of you lives just across the Fraser street from me.
We should definately get together. I've been thinking a doing a block party on this block for a couple of years and talked to people in my buidling about it and in the 2 buidlings next door.
Let's reconnect in Septemeber.
Cheers
Manon
Romanda,
The Main Street Neighbourhood village is holding our monthly potluck dinner and presentation tonight (Tuesday, 7 June) at Little Mountain Neighbourhood House on Main Street at 24th Ave (adjacent to the library). Dinner and a free seed and food plant seedling giveaway start at 6:00 and then an urban gardening presentation and discussion begins at 7 for about an hour. Come and stay as long as you want, or just drop by at any time.
See the full event description here.
Randy
Thank you so much for volunteering. It was a big chaotic and the sheer number of attendees meant some things took a different course, but everyone seemed to have fun and we somehow help to feed and nourish 280 people. Next time we'll be better organized and maybe more modest in the scale of the event.
Meanwhile, having finally recovered from Monday, I am looking forward to our next Main Street get-together where we expect to plan new fun events and projects this fall and winter.
Take care and see you soon.
Randy
