Welcome to Village Vancouver.
We need people across the Lower Mainland to unite under Transition, and organize many local communities as chapters of this Transition movement. There are two other Transitioners from Port Moody already on this site, Melissa Chaun and Sharon Zvonar. I hope you can connect with them to begin setting up a village, or villages, in Port Moody.
While it is important to stay very local, I hope you can also attend Village Vancouver events as well. Someday we'll get the Evergreen Line built and it will be much easier (and greener) to visit each other.
