- i am moving back to commercial drive area, after living in Hong Kong for 9 years. I am now a mama and want to meet positive, healthy community! I want to first engage with vegetarian, organic potlucks, then learn more about urban organic gardening and permaculture. then i want to buy a bike and support sustainable energies. Then i want to learn how to do cobb building and eventually find and co create intentional community off the grid where we can live happy, healthy, creative and free.
- There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)
- i can teach kids yoga, ecstatic dance, singing and opening your voice, the power of communication and building self esteem, theatre and performing arts, dance and choreography, reiki and light work techniques, i can lead a Women's circle and also harmony circles with both men and women.
- What would you like to see improved in Vancouver or in your community regarding sustainability or resiliency? Do you have an idea for a new Transition project or activity?
- Organic kids and family summer camp! I created these day camps in HK and hope to co create them in BC in 2015 and beyond.
