You'll gain a wealth of practical information including what varieties do best in the lower mainland, starting tomatoes from seed, best seed sources and lots more. The Dunbar Transition Village is holding our first Dunbar movie Monday night (tomorrow) at the St. Philips Church Fireside on 27th and Highbury, from 7 to 9. The film is The Turning Point - which takes an inspiring look at our potential to create a life-sustaining society as we face the twin challenges of Peak Oil and Climate Change.
We'll have time for socializing and discussion after the movie so I hope you can make it. Donation suggested.
Your support would be greatly appreciated. We want to show the church and the Dunbar community that Transition has great grassroots support.
Thanks Ann
Welcome to Village Vancouver. We've just had our first Dunbar Village meetup. Quite a few attended and we'are planning on hosting another, possibly in 2 weeks time to advance more on sharing assets and defining some common interests and goals.
Why don't you join the Dunbar group and we'll keep you posted on upcoming events in our neighbourhood?
What kinds of things are you interested in?
Look forward to meeting.
Kind regards.
Ann Pacey
