Join Village Vancouver
As we actually start to ramp up this real effort at sustainability, with on-the-ground changes in our city (and not just the regular Vancouver "sound and fury, signifying nothing"), we will look to the smaller cities of BC to teach us again about the value of community. I won't presume that everything is perfect in Powell River, but human scale is human scale...and we in Vancouver are decidedly beyond it.
We are two ferry rides away, with lots of road in between, but I hope we can collaborate on Transition, both on-line and in person some day.
