Join Village Vancouver
As you can see, we are just beginning to build an on-line community for Village Vancouver, and organize our extensive activities more openly and collaboratively through this site. Please feel free to enter a discussion, attend an event, join a working group, or even start a Village.
I am a former resident of Hastings-Sunrise and president of the Hastings Park Conservancy. One high priority of Village Vancouver is the protection and expansion of public park space, and as our numbers grow, we are going to advocate for the long-planned pedestrian and stream connection between Hastings and New Brighton parks. The race track barns will soon be demolished to make space for this.
We have no other members from Hastings-Sunrise yet, but we will let you know as we grow. Meanwhile, please join us for any event that looks interesting. We are planning more and more events and workshops throughout Vancouver.
