Nice picture. A true miracle of innovation and human drive.
It sounds like you are onto more productive pursuits than politics, at least BC politics. I also believe we can accomplish a lot more by preparing ourselves for what's coming. Food is an excellent starting point.
Keep plugging.

Ian,
Welcome to VV and Vancouver's future. We aim to make it a better one, for all of us and and every other species with which we share this place. And by "all of us," we do not mean to leave anyone out, anyone.
Some of us have given up on government, at all levels, but a core within VV believes that organizing at the grassroots level in a non-partisan way and focussed first on community-building cannot but have powerful political implications.
You would think that the Greens would already be embracing the Transition movement that guides us, and maybe some day they will. You might have some pull in that regard.
Welcome aboard! Contact your local village and join it. Megan needs all the help she can get to organize for the future. Also join the Chicken Coop Co-ops Group to connect and share resources.
Become active in the Transition movement and we will support you in every way we can.
It's good to have you aboard.
Randy
