Hi Jill, Feb. 18th looks good for me so far! What plans do you have for the kitchen? Just so you know, if we ever need a kitchen for something there is a good one at the Lion's Den Recreation Centre at Commercial and Adanac that their program coordinator says is barely used in the afternoons and evenings and she'd be happy to have other community groups make use of it.

Hey all, We have a $500 neighbourhood small grant and are looking for a location develop a 2nd Kits Village demonstration food forest. (Close to 25 people participated in our 1st Kits Blitz  last April.) If you know of potential locations, let me know.

I have two community food forest gardens being developed in the spring. You are all welcome to get involved. One is located in New Westminster and the other in Mount Pleasant.

am reading Earth's blanket by Nancy Turner of U Vic describing food plants and cultivation strategies of our various First Nations,very uplifting,have begun to collect gooseberry,currant,blackberry and blueberry plants and wish to acquire a bee hive still need to find a secure land base, am attending the bee keeping potluck at 3981main,could try bike down a little later ,would love to meet with you,
