Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
StyroFree Challenge was developed out of concern for the use of polystyrene in the food industry. The goal of this challenge is to divert restaurant waste from the landfill and promote environmental and human health. We hope to educate the public about the multitude of issues related to polystyrene packaging and to inspire alternative ways of dealing with waste in our community.
If you have a favorite restaurant that you visit regularly, consider talking to the owner about alternatives or if you know of a restaurant that would like to participate in this challenge please email us at info@styrofree.com.
