Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
Hi all,
I have an enthusiastic rooster who is torturing his favourite few girls and tearing their back feathers out. There's always a screaming match back there when yet another rape is going on...I imagine his claws make it rather painful. Anyone know where I can purchase some chicken saddles locally? I've seen lots for sale in the US on the backyard bird sites, but would rather not have to ship. I need about 5. Do they have to be waterproof here on the coast? It's getting cold and I don't want icy water dribbling down their naked backs... :(
Thanks for any info!
Jen
